Home at last

Figured I could update my journal a bit about now. I'm finally home from college, and with that I've brought a lot of artwork home, some of which I actually like and want to share. My room's an absolute mess now though, like you can't even get through my room without having to step over something. Most of which is, of course, artwork. Why does art have to take up so much space, I don't even have a big room to begin with.
Welp I've got a few days to chill before I start up working again, but that won't hinder when I post stuff. Work is only stressful when I'm at work, unlike college where it's stressful all the time. And I'm basically going to try to do all summer what I was doing or started doing during winter break. I'm gonna try and get at least one page of my comic done every two weeks. I'm going to continue making fanart of my favorite fanfic. Once I get sorted my room sorted out I'll hopefully get around to posting some college doodles and art projects. And once I'm done with that I gotta continue sorting through all the papers I still have from middle and high school, getting all those doodles and putting them in a scrapbook type thing.
And then of course I'll be doodling whatever the hell I feel like doodling.
I probably won't be doing much for about another week, I'm still busy and such, but once I finally settle in for good, drawings will come flying in.

Plans for Winter Break

At the moment I'm kind of in a freak out mode cuz finals are literally right around the corner and I have so much stuff to do for my art classes and art takes time, so that's why I've just kinda stopped arting here for the time being. Some pics of my projects will be up sometime, but probably not till I head back home.
But When I'm Finally Home and stuff, I've got some big plans.
I plan to get at least one page of my comic done each week.
I will be rereading a my most favorite story ever and I'll be making pictures for each chapter.
Hopefully I'll make some time to post my college doodles and art projects.
And Hopefully after all that I'll still have some time to do something about all the papers I still have on the floor of my room. I still have to do that scrapbook thing. Only elementary school is complete. I was sorting through Middle school, but I haven't gotten to cutting yet. I dunno we'll see.

In the meantime, Chrome cosplay is happening for Halloween, and expect some doodles coming in later. I really need to get to more official type drawings though. All I ever do is doodle and nothing is really a full picture. I really need to work on that. Hmmmm...

College + Cosplay

It's about time I've made a new journal, as I'm already a month into college and halloween is around the corner omg I am so pumped.
As for college, it's going fairly well so far. Hate homework though, nothing's changed there. Most of my art classes are pretty stale too, but I'm pushing through. Sociology is fantastic I love my teacher it's the one class I look forward to in the morning. However I may not be doing so well in that class not because I don't understand the material but because of technical difficulties cuz everything we do is digital and electronic so I have no idea if my answers to our in class quizzes have gone through and if they haven't it's gonna bring my grade down alot. This is the only class I'm extremely concerned about grade wise. All my other classes I know I'm doing quite well. Other than that, I think I'm going home... is it this weekend? Cuz there's a long weekend and I live like almost 2 and a half hours away so this'll be my first time going home since the start of college. I am so excited to see my dog again qwq He's like the one reason I'll gladly go back home. Though I do feel kinda bad cuz one of my friend's dogs had to be put down last weekend. ANYWAY, some tips and advice for going into college:
-DO YOUR HOMEWORK AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
-EAT MEAT. FIND MEAT. IF YOU ARE A PICKY EATER LIKE ME, MAC&CHEESE CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH. ANIMAL CRACKERS ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE. FIND A MEAT YOU LIKE AND EAT LIKE YOU'VE NEVER EATEN BEFORE. DON'T GO 2 WEEKS WITHOUT MEAT, YOU WILL CRAVE IT LIKE YOU CRAVE CHOCOLATE.
-DON'T EAT POPCORN. YOUR ROOM'S GONNA SMELL LIKE IT. IF YOU BURN IT IT'S WORSE. OPEN SOME WINDOWS AND TURN ON SOME FANS IF YOU DO.
-BE PREPARED FOR LATE NIGHT FIRE ALARMS, BE IT DRILLS OR THE REAL THING
-BE PREPARED FOR IDIOTS SCREAMING, MAKING NOISE, AND BLASTING MUSIC BE IT INSIDE OR OUTSIDE
-GET AS MUCH SLEEP AS YOU CAN. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE EARLY CLASSES, DON'T STAY UP TILL 2 IN THE MORNING ON TUESDAYS DOING NOTHING.
-TAKE NOTES LIKE HELL
-SKIM, DON'T READ

Welp, anyway, on the subject of Halloween owo
I really really really really really REALLLY wanna cosplay as the Namimori middle school uniform version of Chrome Dokuro from KHR or Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I have a list of things to get before the end of the month.
1) Chrome cosplay wig - I have found one, I just need to talk to my parent's about getting it, and I better be using my own money
2) White Dress shirt - the one I had for Iceland is now too small so I need a new one
3) Navy Blue sweater vest - last time I checked they had 'em at old navy and I have old navy gift cards and there is an old navy at the mall here just down a couple blocks and I have made the discovery that my roommate has a car .x. just gotta work up the courage to ask her to drive me
4) Red Ribbon/Bow - for the bow part of the uniform
5) Eye Patch (& mask) - for the theme I'm going for here for my halloween idea, I most likely won't be getting or making her skull eyepatch. Instead, I'ma see if I can get that eyepatch bandage and mask thing at cvs or something. Hopefully they have them cuz I have the perfect idea to make this costume more halloweeny =w=
I have the rest of the supplies. On Halloween, though, I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do. I don't know if I'm going to go to classes in my full out halloween cosplay or just partially, or without any of the face stuff, including the wig. I'm definitely wearing the clothes to class, cuz it's normal everyday kinda stuff. Either way, I don't know what I'm doing after class. Halloween is awesome this year cuz it's on a friday and I only have two classes in the morning which end at 11 so then I have the rest of the day to myself. As for what I'm doing after that, not sure. Might hang with my suite mates if they're gonna do something. One of them is a cosplayer too. If not, I'ma do some halloween skype chatting with my friends owo Or if I have time I'll do both. I just wanna have fun in costume I am just so excited for Halloween I love Halloween I have to do something. If I'm not gonna be Chrome for halloween for whatever reason, I'll definitely be her for the upcoming anime boston, and I'll just be Terezi from Homestuck instead. I'll be bringing some cosplay stuff back to the dorms with me after this weekend either way =w=

Ok, so last time I wrote a journal I wasn't the happiest and things have changed in the meantime, so I'll just list the official things that are going down
-Graduating from High School on June 7th (internally screaming)
-Gonna be working full time over the summer at this kennel place thing
-I still wanna try and see if I can start commissions over the summer if anyone's interested
-I think I'll open up requests, or at the very least make it official that I actually do them, in the meantime
-Officially going to UMass Dartmouth for college instead of MassArt
-Going for my driver's test on June 27th
-I'ma put together a scrap book of doodles from all over the school years over the summer, starting from 6th grade (with a few things from 3rd, 4th, and 5th) up to now
-During that process I'll also scan in more drawings that I hadn't gotten to scanning yet
Yeah, I think that's about it. I dunno if I'll ever edit this to add to the list or make a new journal, but I'll do whatever.
